Bounty of Krister

Owned by the Vashon-Maury Island Maritime Heritage Society, the 23-foot long boat is a replica of the vessel on which Captain Bligh was set adrift in Mutiny on the Bounty. Smaller navigational vessels, such as the Krister, would normally be carried by a tall ship between its masts and were commonly used by captains Puget and Vancouver as they mapped and navigated their way through the nooks and crannies of the Pacific Northwest's coastline.

CGC Eagle is a Barque

The Eagle serves as a seagoing classroom for future Coast Guard officers. The 295-foot Eagle is the only active commissioned sailing vessel in the U.S. military service and is homeported at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.

Coast Guard Cutter CG-83527

While on active duty with the Coast Guard from 1945 to 1962, the 83-foot cutter/ patrol boat CG-83527 was stationed in Tacoma and provided patrol, search and rescue services in the south Puget Sound area. The cutter was built in Brooklyn, New York during World War II and is the last of the wooden Coast Guard cutters still in its original military configuration.

Hawaiian Chieftain is a 65' L.O.D. steel-constructed 64 - Ton displacement topsail ketch of classic proportions. The vessel was originally designed as a 65' trading packet for use between the Hawaiian Islands.

HMS Bounty was built as an ocean-faring vessel in 1960 for the movie Mutiny on the Bounty, the famous story of the British crew who overthrew Captain Bligh in order to remain in the islands of the Pacific, rather than return to England.

Lady Washington
Lady Washington is a Brig

Lady Washington was launched in 1989 as a Washington State Centennial project. She is a replica of the original Lady Washington, a privateer during the American Revolution. She provides shipboard education programs for schools in 89 ports communities in Washington, Oregon, California, British Columbia and Alaska.

Lavengro
Lavengro is a Gaff-rigged two-master schooner

Originally known as Helen, the Lavengro was designed and built by "Jack-A-Jack" Covacavich on Back Bay, Biloxi, Mississippi, in 1927. She represents the style of the working shrimp schooners of that era. Designed for waters both shoal and turbulent, Lavengro has a sturdy grace, built of cypress planking with a yellow pine centerboard and gaff rigged sails.

The Mycia is a hand-made, wooden, Grand Banks-style, gaff-rigged schooner, approximately 73 feet from bowsprit to stern. Adventures and excursions in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska are offered by exclusive arrangement with Captain John Maher.

North Star is now used in the film industry, for school group tours, historical societies and is a regular participant in classic and wooden boat shows.

Nina

The Niña is a replica of the ship on which Columbus sailed across the Atlantic on his three voyages of discovery to the new world beginning in 1492. Columbus sailed the tiny ship over 25,000 miles and purchased a half share in the vessel. That ship was last heard of in 1501, but the new Niña has a different mission.
