Captain Kidd’s Cove. Kids of all ages will enjoy sharpening their pirate skills in Captain Kidd’s Cove.

- Let’s Pretend Pirate Show. An interactive pirate fantasy plan for kids.
- Pirate Museum. A living history display of historically accurate pirate gear and the stories of real pirates and privateers.
- Pirate Adventure Storytelling. Hear great stories of the seven seas by the Black Diamond Pirates.
- Pirate School. A 90-minute crash course in pirate skills that begins daily at 10 a.m. No pre-registration required.

Water Taxi. Instead of driving your car to the festival, take a water taxi from Des Moines. Water taxis will arrive and depart from the excursion dock in the Trade Winds Village (near Johnny’s Seafood). Call (206) 870-6527 for information about prices and schedules.
