1) How do I apply to become a volunteer?
  Click the “Volunteer Now” button which takes you to the online registration page.

2) How long does the application form take to complete?

Completing the application form may take about 5 minutes.

3) Do I need an email address to register?
No, but if you have one you’ll be able to receive information through your email account which is much quicker than by postal service.  If you need an application mailed to you, call our office at (253) 272-5650.

4) Can two people register with the same email address?
Yes. Please complete two separate applications and enter the email address into one of the two applications.

5) How will I know that you've received my application form?

After you submit your application, you will be immediately notified by return
email that your application has been received.

6) I get an error message when I try to submit my online application, what should I do?
Please scroll to the top of the application page and look for a warning message directing your attention to a potential problem and/or review your application for any missing required fields (noted in red). After making the changes, click on the “Submit Application” button.

7) Will my personal information be stored securely?
Yes. The Tall Ships® Tacoma office will keep all personal information confidential and secure. We will only use your information to assign you as a volunteer, to accredit you as a volunteer, or to communicate with you about festival activities.

8) Will I be able to choose my assignment?  
We will do our best to match you with your preferences.  Obviously, those who volunteer earliest will have the best chance of getting their preferred choices.
